St. Mark Lutheran plans back to school event

In honor of the new school year, St. Mark Lutheran Church, 2101 Jackson St., Great Bend, will be serving hotdogs and all the fixings, as well as sundaes for dessert at a sundae bar, following the service on Sunday, Sept. 22. GALATIA - St. Paul Lutheran Church in Galatia will hold a homemade ice cream social from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29. Ice cream will be served and freewill donations will be accepted for homemade pies, cakes and cookies. Donations will be used for programs such as Christmas charities, Kans for Kids, Military Moms, disaster relief and the Family Crisis Center.
