Grace Community Church offers 'The Kingom Chronicles' VBS

Brave knights and fair maidens will be equipped to put on the full armor of God so they can stand strong in the battle for truth at "The Kingdom Chronicles" vacation Bible school. All children who are pre-school ready through those who have completed sixth grade are invited to attend the programs from 9-11:30, June 24-28 at Grace Community Church, 210 McKinley St.

Jehovah's Witnesses are planning for their annual conventions and an accompanying campaign to invite the public to attend. This year's convention theme is "God's Word is Truth!" The Witnesses launched this series of conventions in the United States during May and will continue the programs worldwide through the end of December.

DORRANCE - Lillian A. Lawrence, 76, died June 16 at Wheatland Nursing Center in Russell. She was born April 17, 1937, at Russell, the daughter of Bertha Bahls and Robert S. Bricker. She married John L. Lawrence on April 2, 1955, at Lucas. A lifetime resident of the Dorrance area, she was a homemaker.
