Adam Longoria made a brief visit to Great Bend Regional Hospital late Wednesday. Sheriff Gregg Armstrong said Longoria, who is charged with capital murder in the death of Alicia DeBolt, had blood in one ear when he was taken from the Barton County Jail to the hospital at 514 Cleveland St., around 11:49 p.m. Longoria received treatment and was returned to jail without incident.

LARNED - Chester Crane, 99, died Oct. 8 at Larned Health Care Center. He was born July 30, 1912, at Garfield, the son of William J. and Elizabeth E. Bingaman Crane. A lifetime resident of Pawnee County, he was a retired clerk/maintenance person for Doerr Manufacturing of Larned for 60 years.
