FORSYTH, Mo. - Calvin "Cal" G. Schridde, 88, passed away on June 12, at his residence in Forsyth, Mo. Born on April 11, 1925 in Great Bend, he was the son of Amelia (Ahrens) and George Schridde. He graduated from the Great Bend High School in 1942, he joined the United States Army in June, 1944. Calvin worked 24 years at Theis Meat Packing Company in Great Bend. He sold appliances for Sears at Great Bend along with farming. In 1999, Calvin moved to Forsyth, Mo. He worked for Point Royale in maintenance for five years.
