DENVER, Colo. - Susan Kay Ehrlich Campbell, 47, died Dec. 18 in Denver, Colo. Born Dec. 16, 1964 in Russell, she was the daughter of Glen and Leona (Maier) Ehrlich. A resident of Denver, Colo. for two years, coming from Hornell, N.Y., she was a caretaker.

Habitat for Humanity of Barton County would like to announce that its board of directors has officially approved a recommendation from its family selection committee for its next partner family. There were numerous applications received from area families for the home being constructed near 19th & Hubbard in Great Bend. And one of those applicants is receiving one of the greatest Christmas gifts a person can get. "We think the timing on this announcement couldn't be better," says Habitat President Rachel Mawhirter. "What better gift than the safety and security of a new home."

Many people would balk at the prospect of a half dozen teenaged boys roaming about under their roof. Just the logistical challenge of feeding them would test the resolve of most. The key to the effectiveness of these management practices include cost, time, markets and climate. Also remember we are speaking about resistance developing in insects and diseases, not just weeds.
