Mary Wilhelm celebrated her 90th birthday on Dec. 29th. She grew up on a farm outside of Garfield and was the youngest daughter of Grace and Ralph Corzine. After graduating from Garfield High School, she attended Fort Hays State. She held many occupations in her life such as telephone operator and school teacher in a one room schoolhouse. Her most important occupation was that of wife and mother. She married Velmer Wilhelm in 1946 and they later had three children, Gary, JoAnn and Carol.
Tiffany Dawn Lovelady and Jarod Ray Reddig were united in marriage on Aug. 6 at Bonanza, Colo. in a ceremony officiated by Eileene Duryee. Parents of the couple are Greg and Kathy Lovelady of Palco and Ray and Mary Jo Reddig of Hays.
Kevin and Kim Frisch of Darien, Conn. announce the birth of their son, Nicholas John Frisch on Oct. 7 at New York University Hospital. He weighed 8 lbs. 6 oz. and was 21" long. He has a four-year-old brother, Aidan, and a one-year-old sister, Madeleine.

Bertha Leikam Kuhn will celebrate her 90th birthday with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Jan. 7 at the Senior Citizen's Center, 2005 Kansas Avenue, hosted by her family. Friends and family are invited. No gifts please.

The following well-balanced and nutritious Friendship Meals will be served for lunch at the Great Bend Senior Center, 2005 Kansas Ave. Meals are served with milk; donations for coffee and tea are accepted.
