COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Joy Amalie Deighton passed away on Feb. 10 at age 92. She was born in Rosetown, Saskatoon, Canada on Aug. 5, 1918, to Joseph and Josephine Suchy, who moved from Kansas to homestead in Canada in the early 1900s. While in Canada, Joy and five sisters were born before the family returned to Kansas.
