The Barton Community College Board of Trustees will discuss next year's operating budget and approve a proposed budget for publication when it meets at 4 p.m. Thursday in room F-30, on the lower level of the Fine Arts Building. A public budget hearing will be set for 4:15 p.m. on Aug. 2.

Barton enrollments continue to climb

Barton Community College spring enrollment increased more than 9 percent in the past year, according to information from the Kansas Board of Regents. Fall enrollment grew by 5 percent, compared to the previous year.
