Vehicles collide at Oakley

A Chevrolet Malibu driven by Anthony Wilson, 18, Leoti, collided with a Dodge Ram driven by Ryan D. Friedly, 19, of Hoisington, at 3:40 p.m. Monday in Logan County, at the U.S. 83/U.S. 40 junction in Oakley. Kansas Highway Patrol reports Wilson was westbound and Friedly was eastbound on U.S. 40, and Wilson failed to yield and attempted to turn left and was hit by the pickup.
