The Tractor Safety Course for Barton County youth age 13-18 will be held Saturday, April 30, from 8 am to 5 pm at Barton Community College CNH Training Facility. GBHS Bands receive Superior ratings at contest
Judge William McMosley from Kansas Wesleyan University, Salina, awarded the Varsity and Junior Varsity Bands I ratings on April 13. The in-house contest was held in the GBHS gym. After listening to the two bands, McMosley worked with the bands as a clinician in addition to his adjudication.
GBHS competes at District National Qualifying Speech Tournament
At the District National Qualifying Forensics Tournament held on April 15 and 16 at Hutchinson High School, the Great Bend High School Forensics Team took eight students and competed in 11 events. The Great Bend High School Forensics team had two members advance to semi-finals and another member advance to finals.
