COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. - Margaret M. Cooper, 89, of Colorado Springs, Colo., passed away May 3, at Pikes Peak Hospice and Palliative Care after a brief stay. She was born Jan. 14, 1922, in Great Bend, to Edgar F. and Bridget May (McGinty) Leeper and was a graduate of Radium High School in Radium. She married Glenn E. Cooper of St. John, on July 15, 1942. She was a retired credit manager for Diamond Lumber Company and a loving homemaker. She loved her family and many friends and enjoyed watching the Denver Broncos, Colorado Rockies and the Denver Nuggets.
ELLINWOOD - June Hammer Klepper, 94, died at Woodhaven in Ellinwood on Friday. She was born Dec. 30, 1916 in Seward, the daughter of Patrick L. Keenan and Mary Hall.
