In a change of its regular meeting date, the Barton Community College Board of Trustees will conduct business at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Seminar Room, F-30 of the Fine Arts Building. WICHITA – Tanner Brown of Great Bend is one of the students who has received a $5,000 Newman Grant from Newman University. The grant can be renewed each year to a total of $20,000 over four years. A student must have 2.0-3.29 high school or college GPA. Freshman students must have a score of 18-22 on the ACT or equivalent SAT score to be eligible for the Cardinal Newman Scholarship. Recipients of the Newman Grant must be enrolled full-time.
