Woman treated for minor injuries after collision
The Great Bend Police Department reports Charles Rupp was driving north on Patton Road at 4:43 p.m. Saturday and his vehicle struck a vehicle driven by Jasmine Velasco, who was westbound on 10th St. turning south onto Patton. Velasco was transported to Great Bend Regional Hospital, where she was treated for injuries and released.

Kiwanis’ Easter egg hunt scheduled for Saturday
The annual Easter egg hunt sponsored by the Great Bend Noon Kiwanis club is set for 9:30 a.m. sharp, Saturday at the Kiwanis Walking Track on the North side of Veterans Memorial Park, just off McKinley Street. Library announces teen movie, free computer class
Great Bend Public Library will show "Annie" at the next Teen Movie Monday, 4 p.m. on May 20. The free movie is open to all students in grades 7-12. The Barton County Sheriff's Office is investigating a rape report. On Friday morning, a woman came to St. Rose Urgent Care and said she had been raped two days earlier. She said a man in a vehicle asked for directions then attacked her on a dirt road near the college (in the 100 block of SE 20 Ave. and NE 10 Road).
