Burglaries reported Sunday

Great Bend Police received several reports Sunday of thefts from homes and vehicles. Someone entered the residence at 2535 Forest Ave. and took several items. A Honda CRX at 1101 Kansas Ave. was broken into and stereo equipment was taken. Someone also broke the window on a 2001 Kia at 4820 10th St. and took stereo equipment. Woman treated for minor injuries after collision

The Great Bend Police Department reports Charles Rupp was driving north on Patton Road at 4:43 p.m. Saturday and his vehicle struck a vehicle driven by Jasmine Velasco, who was westbound on 10th St. turning south onto Patton. Velasco was transported to Great Bend Regional Hospital, where she was treated for injuries and released.

Kiwanis’ Easter egg hunt scheduled for Saturday

The annual Easter egg hunt sponsored by the Great Bend Noon Kiwanis club is set for 9:30 a.m. sharp, Saturday at the Kiwanis Walking Track on the North side of Veterans Memorial Park, just off McKinley Street.
