HOUSTON - Mike Moustakas tied it with an RBI single before George Kottaras walked with the bases-loaded to drive in the go-ahead run in a four-run eighth inning, and the Kansas City Royals rallied for a 7-3 win over the Houston Astros on Tuesday night to end a four-game skid.

ELLINWOOD - Virginia Manning, 91, died May 20 at her home in Ellinwood. Born Dec. 16, 1921 in Ellinwood, she was the daughter of E. Aubrey Smith and Hazel Converse Smith. In 1939, she graduated from Ellinwood High School. On May 17, 1940 she married Delmar Manning in Ellinwood. He died on Oct. 11, 2005. A lifetime resident of Ellinwood, she was a homemaker.
OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - Kansas State reaped the rewards of its first-ever Big 12 baseball championship season as a school-record seven players earned all-conference first-team honors on Tuesday. Wildcats head coach Brad Hill was named coach of the year for the second time.

I'm worried about my country.
