A Veterans Service Representative from the Kansas Commission on Veterans' Affairs will be at the Great Bend Kansas Works Center at 1025 Main Street from 9:30 a.m. -2 p.m. on Oct. 10, to assist veterans and their families in applying for VA benefits. Vietnam era veterans are encouraged to sign up for the Kansas Medallion honoring their service.
