10th Annual Highlander Reunion and Car Show

The 10th Annual Highlander Reunion and Car Show will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on April 20 at the Marriott Hotel parking lot, 9100 Corporate Hills Drive (north on Webb Road and Kellogg). On March 9, Barton County 4H members in the 4H air rifle project traveled to Larned to compete in the Pawnee County 4H Shootout. There were 36 shooters representing seven counties from across Kansas.

Blazers place second

The Barton Blazers took second place in the Shawnee Mission/Overland Park Premiere basketball tournament. The Blazers defeated the Reno County Elite, Beastmode, Bobcats, and CNBA. They lost in the championship game to Missouri Flight. The Blazers will be playing at home this coming weekend in the Great Bend MAYB tourney. Players include, Brock Skelton, Evan Campbell, Nick Wondra, Chance Sanger, Ray Kuhlman, Connor Griffith, Sam Ryan, and JJ Heredia.
