A swather catching on fire in a field Saturday morning caused an estimated $250,000 in damage, Great Bend Fire Chief Mike Napolitano said.
Central Kansas Association for the Visually Impaired will hold its January meeting at a new location at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 22. The meeting has been moved to Central Baptist Church, 3301 Lakin Ave. People should enter using the west parking lot and the north door.

The annual Walk Kansas program is just around the corner, so it is time to start rounding up your team members for that successful program.
