Jennie Frances Ueckert 1924 - 2013

Jennie Frances Ueckert, 89, died Sept. 19 at Woodhaven Care Center, Ellinwood. She was born Aug. 3, 1924, at Stafford, to Louis and Frances (Krkosska) Reiser. She married Paul M. Ueckert April 21, 1945, at Ellinwood. He died July 16, 1995. A lifetime Great Bend resident, she was a homemaker.

Order of Eastern Star school of instruction

Golden Sheaf Chapter #226, Order of the Eastern Star, Great Bend, will host the District #13 School of Instruction on Friday at the Hoisington Masonic Hall.
