Great Bend Library announces summer hours starting May 31

Great Bend Public Library will begin operating under summers at the end of the month. Effective May 31, the library will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays; 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursdays; and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. It will be closed on Sundays. Regular hours will resume Sept. 6.

USD 428 summer menu

USD 428 Great Bend School Food Service will offer the summer lunch program at Riley, Park, Eisenhower and Lincoln schools. The program will run from June 3 through June 27 (Monday through Thursday). Breakfast is served at Park and Riley only. There is no charge for anyone age 1 through 18. Sites are open to all children regardless of where they attend school. Parents may eat with their children for $3 for lunch or $2 for breakfast. All food must be consumed on site.
