Great Bend Public Library will begin operating under summers at the end of the month. Effective May 31, the library will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays; 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursdays; and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. USD 428 Great Bend School Food Service will offer the summer lunch program at Riley, Park, Eisenhower and Lincoln schools. The program will run from June 3 through June 27 (Monday through Thursday). Breakfast is served at Park and Riley only. There is no charge for anyone age 1 through 18. Sites are open to all children regardless of where they attend school.
