Fuller Industries names Alan Burton as Financial Controller

Fuller Industries is pleased to announce that Alan Burton has joined the company as Financial Controller. Burton graduated summa cum laude from Fort Hays State University with a B.B.A. in Accounting. He worked in the retirement plan industry for several years and is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries. Before today's topic two brief mentions are in order. First, the hot dry weather of the last week hasn't dramatically changed the drought ratings from the week before. If this pattern persists for the next week or so, much of the county will slip back into the abnormally dry or moderate drought range. I wish I could say "fall is in the air" but with temperatures nearing the triple digits, we are definitely still in the summer mode. Garden produce this year has had its ups and downs; first a late spring and dry conditions kept gardens from growing and producing. The late July rains gave gardens the boost they needed. I'm pulling together resources for an educational program titled, "Seasonal and Simple" and I hope you will mark the date on your calendar and plan to join me.
