ARANSAS PASS, Texas - Opal Georgia McCutchan, 94, died Sept. 14th. Born on March 14, 1919 in Minneapolis, she was the daughter of Roy Bryne Messex and Grace Travis Messex. She was a resident of the area since 1957.

Father Earl Befort, Father Fred Gatschet, and Father Ultan Murphy concelebrated. Parents of the couple are Michael and Cheryl Schmeidler of Hays and Robert and Kathy Schneider of Olmitz. The bride was given in marriage by her father.
