The second annual Festival Victoria in Spanish will be held on Monday, Sept. 2, in the Barton County courthouse square, downtown Great Bend. Surrendered Family Ministries will offer free concessions, bounce house and music at 4 p.m., followed by the Festival Victoria at 5 p.m. This time of worship will feature the Roca Blanca Band and ministry team from the Roca Blanca Mission Base in Oaxaca, Mexico.

St. John's Episcopal Church, 2701 17th St., Great Bend, welcomes back the Rev. Phyllis Flory, who has been enrolled in a hospital chaplain class at Kansas City and has completed the course. She will resume her duties at St. John's with three regularly scheduled Holy Eucharist services a month. All are invited to come and welcome Mother Phyllis back.
