ST. JOHN - Velma Deane Koelsch, 85, died Tuesday, May 17 at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson. She was born Nov. 23, 1925 at Stafford, the daughter of Edward Henry and Laura (Fritzemeier) Schneider. A life-long resident of St. John, she was a homemaker, graduate of Stafford High School, worked for Carr Auction and was the past deputy treasurer for Stafford County.
Wendi Sue Sineway, 42, died May 18 at her home in Great Bend. Born Oct. 13, 1968 in Hoisington, she was the daughter of Kenneth Eugene and Charlotte (Littrell) Sineway. She was a lifetime resident of Great Bend.
HOISINGTON - Dolores J. Hogan, 84, died May 18 at Buhler Sunshine Home. Born Aug. 2, 1926 in Hoisington, she was the daughter of Theodore R. and Isabelle M. (Radke) Lutschg. On June 25, 1946 she married Virgil Hogan in Hoisington. A lifetime resident of Hoisington, she was a retired bookkeeper for Suburban Laundry.
BUSHTON - Larry R. Schroeder, 71, of Bushton, died Tuesday, May 17, in Peoria, Ill. He was surrounded by his loving family. Born Jan. 24, 1940 in Ellsworth, he was the son of Robert Schroeder and Myrtle Weihe. He grew up in Lorraine, along with his sister Nancy, who survives.
