CHANDLER, Ariz. - Nadine Marie (Boyle) Luse, 91, passed away on March 7 at the Harmony House Group Home in Chandler, Ariz. Nadine was born on May 16, 1920 in Olmitz to Archer A. and Carrie M. (Hester) Boyle. She grew up in Olmitz, later moving to Great Bend, where she graduated from Great Bend High School in 1938. She was united in marriage to Charles Wesley Luse, Jr. on Aug. 6, 1938 at Great Bend, and the couple moved to southern California. Mr. Luse passed away in 1984. Community Concert Features Paul McDermand on Steel Drum and Marimba

Not often does the Golden Belt Community Concert Association feature a steel drum and marimba percussionist in concert. In fact, this month's performer is the first. On Monday, the Barton County Sheriff's Office received calls from individuals in rural Great Bend and rural Pawnee Rock, both reporting attempted fraud via telephone scams.
