Adeline F. Bryant 1923 - 2011

HOISINGTON - Adeline F. Bryant, 87, died April 7 at Country Place Senior Living in Hoisington. Born April 18, 1923 in Pitcher, Okla., she was the daughter of Oscar L. and Ida E. (Emily) Brandon. A Hoisington resident for 50 years, she was a homemaker. On Jan. 15, 1939 she married Vivian T. Bryant in Columbus. He died July 2, 1968.

Joyce Estella Goreham 1930 - 2011

Joyce Estella Goreham, 81, Gorham, died April 5, at Russell Regional Hospital. Born March 18, 1930, in Liberal, she was the daughter of Lewis F. and Emma C. (Mische) Culver. She grew up in Yates Center. On June 15, 1948, she married Rolland F. "Ladd" Goreham in Yates Center. She worked as a waitress for a number of years. In 1952, she moved to Russell.

Jerry Keith Reinert 1938 - 2011

NESS CITY - Jerry Keith Reinert, 72, died April 5, at the Hodgeman County Health Center in Jetmore. Born Nov, 14, 1938 on the farm in Southeast Ness County, he was the son of Henry and Alice Petersilie Reinert. A lifetime resident of Ness County and the Riverside community, he was a farmer. On May 2, 1965 he married Hazel Stewart at Scott City. She preceded him in death on March 19, 2005.

Youth group plans garage sale

The youth group of the Apostolic Church, 3920 Forest in Great Bend, is planning to hold a garage 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 30, at the church to raise money for a trip to its annual youth camp.
