Several people contacted the Great Bend Police Department Monday night and early Tuesday, as a known male was reportedly lurking about. Police contacted him at 11:06 p.m. after he was seen standing behind a residence in the 1200 block of Ninth St.
The meeting time listed for the Golden Belt Home Health & Hospice Grief Support Group was incorrect in Sunday's paper. The group meets from 6:30-8 p.m. on Mondays in Conference Room 103 of the Medical Building at 3520 Lakin Ave. (entrance on Lincoln Street). Sessions began this week an will continue through Sept. 30.

PRATT - Frank J. Reif, 99, died July 26, at Hilltop Manor in Cunningham. Born Oct. 1, 1913 in Claflin, he was the son of Alois and Anna (Hitschmann) Reif. On Aug. 16, 1939 he married Salome M. Moeder in Odin. She preceded him in death on Jan. 15, 2000. He was a farmer.
