TOPEKA - Richard Kirby Petersilie, 46, died June 25, 2012 at the Rush County Memorial Hospital in La Crosse. Born March 12, 1966 in Ness City, he was the son of Ory Petersilie and Mickie Malone. He attended Otis-Bison High School in Otis. A resident of Topeka for more than 25 years he was employed by Emerson Construction of Topeka and was working on a project in La Crosse. He was formerly a mechanic for Topeka Travel Plaza for many years.
DAVIS, Calif. - Lorraine Lacey Ryan, 82, died May 25, 2012 at her home in Davis, Calif.
HOISINGTON - Ryan "Pat" Lynch, 54, of Hoisington died June 25, 2012, at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.

With the concern over revenues for Kansas, the executive branch is asking many departments to determine and report the efficiencies of what they do. We throw the term efficiency around a lot, but what does it really mean.
