MALVERN, Ark. - Brandon "Teddy Bear" Williams, 45, passed away at his home Nov. 27. He was born April 25, 1965, in Hastings, Neb., the son of Rickey and Connie (Oetken) Williams. Brandon had worked at Precision Industries for 20 years and was a member of the Reyburn Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
NEKOMA - John F. Jones, 85, died Dec. 8 at the Rhode Island Suites in Ransom. Born June 27, 1925, in Cromwell, Okla., he was the son of Herbert and Lenora (Hibbard) Jones. He was a 1943 graduate of Stafford High School. A resident of rural Nekoma for more than 50 years, moving from Stafford, he was an agent for the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company and a farmer before his retirement.

LARNED - Keith Eugene Rolo, 84, died Dec. 9 at Pawnee Valley Community Hospital, Larned. He was born Jan. 18, 1926, at Larned, the son of Francis and Mary Bowman Rolo. A longtime resident of Pawnee County, he was a retired farmer and custom harvester. He was a graduate of Zook High School class of 1943.
Beth C. Schneider, 90, of Great Bend, died Dec. 10 at Great Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born Sept. 26, 1920, at La Crosse, the daughter of Chester H. and Ollie V. (Butler) Crotinger. She married William C. Schneider Jan. 24, 1949, at Rush County. He died July 10, 1962. A Great Bend resident since 1992, coming from Rush County, she was a homemaker.

Debbie Warren, longtime head coach of Barton Community College's cheerleading program, said she was fired Friday by Barton President Dr. Carl Heilman. The college's board of trustees is scheduled to meet at 4 p.m. Thursday in the Seminar Room, F-30, of the Fine Arts Building. Supporters of Warren say they plan to attend.
