HOISINGTON - The Hoisington High School forensics team has had a successful first half of the season, and now has five students and eight entries qualified for State Forensics in Wichita in May.
A Veterans Service Representative from the Kansas Commission on Veterans' Affairs will be at the Great Bend Kansas Works Center at 1025 Main Street from 9:30 a.m. -2 p.m. on Friday to assist veterans and their families in applying for VA benefits. The rep was scheduled to be in town Thursday, but that has changed.
