Students from St. Joseph School demonstrated their public speaking skills in the annual orations contest held on April 4. This contest is sponsored by the Modern Woodmen of America, a fraternal financial services organization. Students shared a presentations on this year's topic, "a person who has overcome." The seven finalists were: Jade Mountain, Allison Panning, Sarah Hammeke, Alex Hammeke, Ross McNett, Jordan Davis Mountain, and Peter Joslin.
