HCC spring semester honor roll

Hutchinson Community College has announced the honor rolls for the Spring 2013 semester, including grades through the end of the interterm session. 1,327 students have been honored with selection to the two honor roll listings, with 701 achieving the President's Honor Roll with a 4.0 grade point average for the semester. Preceptor Pi gift

Members of Preceptor Pi chapter of Beta Sigma Phi present a gift of $583 to Dr. Kyle Krebaum for the Makinna Ann Hope Foundation established by Krebaum and his wife, Tasha, in memory of their daughter, Makinna, to help families who have special-needs children. Representing Preceptor Pi, Susan Coulson presents the donation to Krebaum. Community effort for summer musical production

"It takes a village" is the proverb about raising a child but the same holds true in producing a community theatre production. That is certainly the case with the Sterling Community Theatre Troupe's production of the musical comedy whodunit, Curtains, which will be presented at 8 p.m. next Friday and Saturday, July 5 and 6. and at 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 7, in the Sterling High School Theatre.
