Reba N. Richter 1927 - 2012

ELLINWOOD - Reba N. Richter, 85, of Ellinwood, formerly of Great Bend, passed away at the Woodhaven Care Center in Ellinwood on Monday morning, Sept. 17. Born on July 21, 1927 in Great Bend, she was the daughter of James and Hazel (Selle) Christensen. She attended school in Great Bend, where she was a resident for most of her life. In 1955, she was united in marriage to Virgil Richter, they later divorced. In years past, Reba worked for Bell Telephone as an operator for several years and later worked for Fuller Brush Company for a number of years. She enjoyed ...

CLAFLIN -In the last two months Claflin personnel were dispatched for: four patient assist calls, a traumatic fall injury, a possible stroke, a pedestrian versus vehicle accident, a multiple injury vehicle versus vehicle accident, a motorcycle accident, a syncope episode, a cardiac arrest, a dehydration call, four sick patients, a patient with other medical problems, eight out-of-town transfers, and one football standby.

The New Republican Tar Pits

It's kind of sad being forced to watch the death struggle of these modern-day dinosaurs. Responsible parents should keep their kids from peering over the Plexiglas railing into the tar pits below to see the huge lumbering antediluvian beasts frenziedly dig themselves deeper into the sticky morass that is gay marriage. Great Bend High School Panther bowling results

The Great Bend Panther bowling squads made an early departure from town on Saturday morning as they traveled to The Alley in Wichita for the 8 team Andover Tournament. In girls action it was sophomore Allie Brodrick who led the way with her team high 560 series. Following close behind was sophomore Kylynn Keeler with a 533 series, senior Abby Rose with a 515 series and senior Addie Soukup with a 514 series.
