RUSSELL - Clifford Franklin Kopke, 88, died Dec. 1, 2013 at a Littleton, Colorado assisted living facility. Born Aug. 31, 1925, in Emporia, he was the son of William C. Kopke and Sophia Adaline Van Deren Kopke. In 1943 graduated from high school in Emporia. On Feb. 28, 1948, he married Margaret Dorothy Back in Wichita, living in Hoisington before relocating to Russell. She died on Aug. 27, 1983. RUSSELL - Harry Lee Hunsley III, 82, died Dec. 1, 2013 at his residence in Russell. Born Nov. 3, 1931, in Larned, he was the son Harry, Jr. and Ann (Bishop) Hunsley. He grew up in Great Bend and graduated from Great Bend High School. He graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Civil Engineering. WINFIELD - Ida Funk, 82, died Dec. 3, 2013 at her home in Winfield. Born March 18, 1931, in Raymond, she was the daughter of Arch and Alma(Ash) Cain. She was raised and attended schools in Great Bend and Raymond. On Dec. 1, 1960, she married Paul Funk in Great Bend. He passed away July 7, 1999. She was employed at F. W. Texas Versus California
