Great Bend City Slicers 4-h club meeting

Great Bend City Slickers 4-H club met on Sept. 12 at the Presbyterian Church. Nine members, three leaders and eight parents were present. It was announced that 4-H record books are due on Sept. 18. Election of officers will take place at the next meeting. 4-H week is Oct. 6- Oct. 12 and all members were asked to wear their 4-H t-shirts and bring friends to the next meeting. Basgall 40th

Lloyd and JoAnn Basgall celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with a family vacation hosted by their children at Table Rock Lake, Mo. Their children gave them the gift of a lakeside vacation rental home with all the family spending the week together. The family attended Mass and followed with many lakeside activities including boating, swimming, family memories and smores around a campfire every evening.
