Wilma G. (Scott) Meyer 1922 - 2011

RAPID CITY, S.D. - Wilma G. (Scott) Meyer, 88, of Rapid City, S.D. died July 9, at Clarkson Health Care. The daughter of Silvey and Dixie (Shumate) Scott, she was born on Aug. 30, 1922 on the family farm, Shady Lane, north of Larned. After graduating from Larned High School, Wilma worked at Boeing during World War II as a welder and solderer. She also worked for REA in Great Bend. Wilma married Marion on Sept. 19, 1949 in Great Bend, and enjoyed traveling and seeing the world with him during his time in the Air Force. She was ...
