A woman and child from Denver, Colo., were injured Friday morning on Interstate 70 in Ellsworth County when a car overturned. The accident occurred at 10:34 a.m., approximately 22 miles east of Russell.

A Great Bend resident reported seeing someone in a white pickup steal a trailer and an all terrain vehicle Thursday night from his residence, 9025 Fourth St. Sometime after 11:30 p.m., the truck was seen traveling on west U.S. 56 and SW 50 Ave., pulling the trailer that carried the four-wheeler. The suspect unhooked the trailer from the truck and ditched the stolen property in the 300 block of SW 10 Road.
