I've lived in a lot of apartments in a lot of different cities. Most of them have been described as vintage in their listing, which translates as very basic and old. I'm a big believer in location, location, location and I'm willing to trade where I am for whatever amenities there just aren't in my immediate surroundings.

Straub International announces Grand Opening event on Sept. 11 for new Wichita complex

Straub International opened their new Wichita store located at 3200 W. May St. on Aug. 5th. Although the store was expected to open Sept. 1, construction finished earlier than planned. "The store is stocked and ready to serve our customers", said Alan Dold, General Manager "We anticipate a great amount of growth with this facility and have added staff to equip ourselves for their needs".

New hires on BCC agenda

Hiring of personnel is on the agenda for the next Barton Community College Board of Trustees meeting, set for 4 p.m. Thursday in room F-30 of the Fine Arts Building. Adam's Apple Festival scheduled for Saturday

The 40th Annual Adam's Apple Festival will take place this Saturday in Lucas. Events include a Color Me Happy 5K Run at 8:30 a.m. (registration begins at 7:30); craft booths on Main Street starting at 9 a.m.; parade at 10:30 a.m. and barbecue at noon at the City Park.
