Three Great Bend residents were arrested on aggravated battery charges Wednesday after a 25-year-old male was hit in the head with a golf club. The Great Bend Police Department was dispatched to 1445 Park Ave. at 1:34 p.m. and located suspects over the next hour.

An injury accident was reported at 12:22 p.m. Wednesday when two vehicles collided at K-96 and Patton Road. The Great Bend Police Department reports Jairo Martinez was driving northeast on Patton Road in a Lincoln Navigator and failed to yield right of way to a Chrysler Town and Country van driven by Leroy Rube, who was traveling northwest on K-96.
