LARNED - Evelyn E. (Sooby) Galliart, 88, died April 27 at the Pawnee Valley Community Hospital, Larned. Born Feb. 26, 1925 in Larned, she was the daughter of Ben H. Sooby Sr. and Edith (Hays) Sooby, She graduated from Larned High School in 1943. Evelyn married Glenn Galliart on Aug. 8, 1942, at Jetmore. They farmed in the Zook community from 1943 to 1973, when they moved to Texas in order to follow Glenn's work for Federal Crop Insurance.
