Budke earned credentials from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. PRATT - Jon Travis Hartman, 74, died Dec. 13, at his home in Pratt. Born Oct. 1, 1940, in Pratt, he was the son of Charles Dwight and Helen Louise (Stiles) Hartman. He earned his Master of Art from Fort Hays University and taught 35 years at Great Bend High School. He served on the Vernon Filley Art Museum Foundation Board of Directors for several years and remained as Emeritus Board Member.
Helen E. (Nickerson) Sharp, 81, died Dec. 13, at Diversicare of Larned. Born May 14, 1933, in Great Bend, she was the daughter of Corbin and Elizabeth (Skirvin) Nickerson. On June 1, 1942, she married Bobby Dale Howard in Pratt. They were later divorced. She then married Robert Carl Sharp on June 21, 1975, in Great Bend. They were later divorced. A longtime resident of Great Bend, also residing in Las Vegas, Nev. and Larned, she served as a librarian and bus driver for the Radium School District and was a bookkeeper for Melvin Nuss. She enjoyed reading and sewing.
