Marie Schank 1920 - 2012

Marie Schank, 92, died Nov. 29 at her home in Great Bend. Born April 4, 1920 in Rush County, she was the daughter of Frank and Anna (Horacek) Nepereny. On Sept. 14, 1937 she married John W. Schank in Wichita. He died on March 5, 1966. A resident of Great Bend since 1972, coming from Hays, she was a tax clerk for the Barton County Treasurer's Office, retiring in 1986.
