Ray and Pat Hanken of Holyrood will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. on July 27, in the Fellowship Hall at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 1109 N. Vine Street in Hoisington. Hosts for the event will be their children Steve and Sonja Ritter of Hoisington, Troy and Tonya Chadwell of Flower Mound, Texas, and Terry and Jeni Hanken of McPherson. The couple has six grandchildren, Sarah Smith, Shelly Ritter, Taye Chadwell, and Cole, Trey and Drew Hanken.
Mable Wilton was born on July 15, 1923 on a small farm in Weskin. She will celebrate her 90th birthday with a trip to Colorado with her daughter, Toni Wilton of Kansas City. She will be in Colorado Springs, Colo. with her granddaughter Tina and her husband Marco.

Parents of the couple are Mitch and Jennifer Webster of Kansas City, Mo. and Don and Janet Hartz of Fort Worth, Texas. Grandparents of the bride are Harold and Virginia Langrehr of Great Bend and the late Marvin and Elizabeth Webster. Grandparents of the groom are Don and Dorothy Hartz of New Braunfels, Texas and Ruth Collins of Fort Worth, Texas.
