RSVP pillow cleaning at new location

Kraft Pillow Service will be in Great Bend from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, in the parking lot of the RSVP office, 1025 Main. The location for this annual fundraiser for the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program has changed. Come to the southwest door off the parking lot to sign in and leave pillows or comforters for refurbishing. The Krafts also have new feather and down pillows for sale.

Crime Stoppers seeks info on contruction site theft

A torch cart with an oxygen bottle and an acetylene bottle were stolen sometime between 8 p.m. on April 6 and 9 a.m. on April 9, from a construction site at 5520 10th St. in Great Bend. Police Chief Dean Akings said loss was $700. Anyone with information about this crime or any other crimes is asked to call Crime Stoppers, 792-1300 or 888-305-1300.
