Honesty is such a lonely word

A sculpture on display at Normandale Community College in Bloomington, Minn., was stolen. The piece, by artist John Ilg, consisted of wire mesh over a frame, with 316 rolled-up dollar bills stuffed in the mesh. The piece was titled, "Honesty." Dorothy D. Fox 1924 - 2013

LARNED - Dorothy D. Fox, 88, died May 16 at the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita. Born Oct. 12, 1924, in Muskegon, Mich., she was the daughter of Ernest W. Goldsmith. On Dec. 15, 1946, she married Walter Mac Fox in Wichita. A longtime area resident of Larned, she was a farmer's wife, a Rosie Riveter for Boeing during World War II and worked in the Dietary Department at Larned State Hospital.
