The Fuller Brush Company announced Thursday that Ellen Moran has been promoted to the position of chief financial officer, effective May 2. In her new position, Moran is responsible for the administration of all corporate finance and accounting functions. In addition to these duties, she will also supervise both the Information Technology and Human Resources departments.

ELLINWOOD - The Ellinwood Recreation Commission is offering a Kids 'n the Kitchen class at Ellinwood High School for children entering second through fourth grades in the fall.

Too often my life feels out of control. My 4 children are involved in several activities, and we are on the move a lot of the time. When I feel stress, I am frazzled and impatient with people around me. Stress makes life feel overwhelming. Since my life isn't going to slow down for at least the next decade, I have to learn how to reduce stress and remove stressors from my life. I'm trying to adhere to these 5 simple stress-reducing principles.

Trinity Lutheran Church in Otis will have a special celebration honoring Pastor Bruce Adamson on the 35th anniversary of his ordination. The service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 21, with special music provided by Prairie Timbre +1. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Susan Candea, the Bishop's Associate with the ELCA Synod.
