Sunflower Bank kicks-off ABC Program to promote education for 15th year

Since 2001, Sunflower Bank has been raising money for local schools and students annually through its ABC program. Total donations since the program began are over $934,000. Last year the program included almost 300 schools across Colorado, Kansas, and Missouri and raised $113,945.

Free tax help will be starting soon

The AARP Tax Preparation volunteers will start their tax season in February. They are currently taking update and renewal classes. These volunteers are offering free tax preparation to seniors in Barton and Pawnee counties on Thursdays. Tax appointments are available from 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. each Thursday. Appointments fill quickly, so you can call into the office to get on the waiting list. It is first come first serve for appointment times and it is filling up fast.
