Gavoyn Mathew Bunch, 16 months, died Sept. 1, at Great Bend Regional Hospital. He was born April 21, 2010 at Wichita the son of Brian Cody and Casey Reenea (Hupfer) Bunch. He was a lifetime Great Bend, Kansas resident.
Ledesma and Trimmer earn top finishes
Patricia Ledesma is now the Reserve World NSBA Champion in the category of trail pattern for Riders with Disabilities. The Rosewood Services Inc. client earned her new title at the National Snaffle Bit Association World Horse Show, held in Tulsa Aug. 17-21 at the Built Ford Tough Expo Complex in Tulsa.
Children flock to Cheyenne Bottoms for 2nd Education Day
- Three hundred and fifty Barton County second graders flocked to the Kansas Wetlands Education Center on Thursday for the 2nd annual Wetlands Education Day to learn about the wild, wonderful wetlands in Barton County. It was hosted by the Friends of Cheyenne Bottoms.
