‘Dancing with the Barton Stars’

It's almost show time. Five pairs of local celebrities, who have been polishing their moves for the past two months, will hit the stage dancing at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday as the main attraction of "Dancing with the Barton Stars." Their stage is the Barton Community College fine arts stage and their goal is to raise funds and awareness for renovating the college's 40-year-old Fine Arts Auditorium.

Five students qualify to Sems at District National Qualifying Tournament

The Great Bend High School Forensics Team competed at the District National Qualifying NFL Tournament on Friday and Saturday April 19th and 20th. Twelve students competed which consisted of: Nathaniel Cheney, Kenna Dirks, Michael Gieck, Clara Kachanes, Sarah Keller, Mallorie McNett, Jordan Otten, Chase Pumford, Jesus Sandoval, Kane Schumacher, Kameko Schultz and Paige VanSteenburgh.
