Dodge City squeezes past Great Bend, 28-26

It seemed as though both Great Bend High School's and Dodge City's girls spent much of their Western Athletic Conference basketball clash trying to give the game back to each other.

For the better portion of 3 ½ quarters, the Great Bend High School Panthers matched defending Western Athletic Conference champion and current leader Dodge City on Friday night at Panther Fieldhouse.

LIBERAL - It was a matter of survival for the Great Bend High School girls' basketball team, who captured a huge road victory on Saturday night, edging Liberal 45-43.
